Allcargo Supply Chain, a division of Allcargo Logistics, has officially inaugurated a modern logistics park in Panapakkam, near Chennai. This new facility marks a significant step in the company’s efforts to strengthen its presence in Southern India and enhance the efficiency of its logistics operations across the country. Spanning a massive area of 2.75 lakh square feet, the Panapakkam Logistics Park has been built according to international standards and is designed to cater to both domestic and international supply chain demands.

In addition, a 5,000 square foot mezzanine floor has been dedicated to client offices, providing administrative support within the logistics complex. The facility is also equipped with advanced security systems and modern handling equipment to ensure safe and efficient movement of goods.

Approximately 400 contractual workers will be employed every month, with nearly 95 percent of them being blue-collar workers drawn from the nearby communities. Additionally, stormwater drains have been designed using 80 years of historical rainfall data to prevent flooding and ensure efficient drainage.
