Powered by the Tiger Sport 800 Engine
At the heart of the Trident 800 lies a powerful engine—borrowed straight from the Tiger Sport 800. This is a 798 cc, three-cylinder engine that has proven itself in performance and reliability. On the Tiger Sport, this engine produces close to 113 brake horsepower (BHP) and 84 Newton-meters of torque. The Trident 800 is expected to deliver similar numbers, though it may be tuned slightly differently to suit its roadster character.
Unlike bikes that chase extreme top speed, the Trident 800 will likely focus on strong mid-range power. This means smoother rides in the city, more relaxed highway cruising, and plenty of punch when overtaking. Riders will get both excitement and practicality in one package.

Triumph is known for blending classic style with modern technology, and the Trident 800 will be no different. Test models hint at a full suite of electronic features that may include:

When Will It Come to India?
For Indian riders, the big question is when the Trident 800 will hit showrooms. Since Triumph has not yet launched the Tiger Sport 800 in India, the Trident 800 may also take some time before arriving here. However, given the success of the Trident 660 in the Indian market, Triumph may not delay too long.
The bike could be a hit in India, especially for riders who want something more powerful than a 660 but do not wish to jump straight to a 765 or bigger adventure bikes.
