The design of the project will be managed by WSP Canada Inc., an internationally recognized engineering firm. Their expertise ensures that the project will meet the highest standards in safety, design, and efficiency. This collaboration brings together construction strength, engineering excellence, and careful planning, making it possible to deliver a modern transit extension for Toronto residents.

What Does the Project Include?

The Eglinton Crosstown West Extension is a 9.2-kilometre light rail extension that will stretch from the current Mount Dennis Station to Renforth Drive. This extension will add seven new stations along the route, making it easier for people to access public transit in several neighborhoods.

The SRS package includes several key elements:

  • Seven New Stations: The extension will have one station at ground level, two elevated stations, and four underground stations. Each station is designed to be modern, safe, and user-friendly, offering easy access to commuters.
