Suzuki Motorcycle India, one of the leading two-wheeler manufacturers in India, has recorded a significant growth in its sales for August 2025. The company sold a total of 113,936 motorcycles across India and international markets, which is a 9% increase compared to 104,800 units sold in August 2024. This rise in sales highlights the strong demand for Suzuki motorcycles both in India and abroad.
Domestic Market Performance
In the domestic market, Suzuki Motorcycle India achieved 91,629 unit sales in August 2025, which is 5% higher than the 87,480 units sold in the same month last year. This growth shows the continued trust and preference customers have for Suzuki motorcycles. Experts believe that models like the Suzuki Gixxer series, which are popular among young riders, have contributed significantly to this domestic growth.
The company’s focus on fuel-efficient, stylish, and durable motorcycles has helped it retain its market share despite strong competition from other two-wheeler brands in India. Suzuki’s strong dealership network, reliable service, and availability of spare parts have also played a key role in encouraging buyers to choose Suzuki motorcycles.
Export Performance
Exports also witnessed a remarkable rise during August 2025. Suzuki shipped 22,307 motorcycles to international markets, showing a 29% increase from 17,320 units exported in August 2024. The growth in exports indicates the company’s expanding presence in overseas markets and its increasing popularity among global customers.
Analysts say that the rise in exports is due to Suzuki’s continuous efforts to meet international quality standards and the increasing demand for Indian-made motorcycles in countries across Asia, Africa, and South America. This trend also strengthens India’s position as a global hub for two-wheeler manufacturing.
Impact of the Festive Season
Suzuki Motorcycle India expects its sales to continue growing, especially with the festive season approaching. Traditionally, festivals in India like Diwali, Navratri, and Dussehra see an increase in two-wheeler purchases as families buy new motorcycles for personal use or as gifts.
The company is preparing for this surge by ensuring sufficient stock across dealerships, introducing attractive finance schemes, and launching marketing campaigns to attract new customers. Suzuki’s strategy focuses on combining affordability, quality, and brand reliability to sustain its growth momentum.
Company’s Vision
Suzuki Motorcycle India remains committed to delivering high-quality motorcycles and excellent customer service. The company aims to strengthen its position in the domestic market while expanding its reach in international markets. By focusing on innovation, customer satisfaction, and strong after-sales service, Suzuki is confident of maintaining steady growth in the coming years.
Industry experts say that Suzuki’s performance in August 2025 is a clear sign of the company’s resilience and its ability to adapt to changing market conditions. With rising demand in both domestic and global markets, Suzuki Motorcycle India is likely to continue its upward trajectory in the two-wheeler segment.
